New Kroma Crackle!
How is Kroma Crackle different from other crackle products?
There are several different types of crackle mediums on the market. Some are two part systems that depend on a chemical reaction to create cracks and tend to emulate the effect of peeling paint on weathered wood. Others are heavy pastes that can be used only on rigid supports and create chalky surfaces with wider cracks.
KROMA crackle is a semi opaque gel that cracks as it dries. Used straight from the tube it will dry white. It can be used on flexible surfaces and remains flexible once dry and sealed. It is a very versatile and can be used in different ways to produce different cracking effects.
What Surfaces can I use Kroma Crackle on?
Kroma crackle can be used on both rigid and flexible surfaces such as paper, fabric, leather, canvas, wood, and metal. An absorbent surface such as canvas or paper should be sealed with a layer of acrylic paint or clear acrylic medium before applying crackle. Very smooth surfaces such as metal should be sanded before applying crackle to ensure adhesion
These large 150ml tubes will allow for lots of playing.
