Helen Breil Designer Texture Stamps

These stamps are the newest direction in Helen's continuing fascination with textures and design. Here are some important features to note:

• These texture stamps are standard unmounted rubber stamps and can be used as such for paper crafts (inked projects, paper castings, etc), polymer clay, metal clay and fabric projects.
• The stamps do not require a resist (such as water) when used with non-sticky polymer clay. When working with polymer, you can create your impression by putting the stamps through most pasta machines. Instructions: Roll out your clay at approximately the 5th largest setting of your machine. Put the clay and the stamp together through the machine at the largest setting (#1 on most machines).
• Create an inverse texture of a stamp for more pattern options. Using polymer clay, make an impression of a stamp using your pasta machine as described above. Cure the impression. Use this polymer clay version as your texture sheet to get an inverse of the original stamp. Be sure to use a resist such as water so that your raw clay does not stick to the cured clay.
• All designs are 4"x5" in size
• The designs as shown below represent what you would see if you inked and stamped on paper.
• You may freely incorporate these stamp impressions into your work, whether your art is for personal use or for sale.
• All stamps with the exception of Jitterbug were produced from Helen's original hand-drawn designs. Helen's designs were inspired by the Zentangles meditative, repetitive-pattern approach to drawing.
